Description
This wide, shallow bowl has a broad flat rim and a deep band of raised, brick-like relief texture around the body, above fine ridges near the foot. The mottled glaze blends rust brown, pale stone grey and hints of blue-green, picking out the edges of the texture. It sits on a raised foot ring, and a large drainage hole is visible in the centre of the base.
At 11.5cm wide and 6cm tall, it suits shallow-rooted succulents, small cacti or a mini succulent garden on a coffee table, desk or windowsill. It has a handmade look, so glaze and texture vary slightly from piece to piece.
