Description
This taller coarse-pottery pot has a twisted, ridged body that swells towards the base and stands on small feet, where the warm tan clay shows below the glaze. It is covered in a glossy deep cobalt blue glaze with pale streaks running along the ridges, and the inside and rim show hints of the clay body.
The irregular shape gives it a handmade look, so each piece varies slightly. At 8cm wide and 10cm high, it suits an upright succulent, a columnar cactus or a small houseplant on a shelf or desk.
- Size: 8×10cm
- Material: Glazed coarse pottery
- Finish/colour: Glossy cobalt blue glaze with pale streaks; unglazed clay foot tips
