Soils & Mixes

Shop granular soils and mix ingredients for succulents, bonsai, orchids and seed raising in New Zealand. Muzi Home & Garden stocks akadama, kanuma, satsuma gold stone, maifan stone, green zeolite, diatomite, LECA clay pebbles, perlite, vermiculite, granulated peat and rice husk biochar in 3L, 5L and 14L bags, plus our peat-free MUZI succulent granular mix. For succulents and bonsai, choose akadama, maifan stone, green zeolite, kanuma or satsuma gold stone, or our ready-mixed succulent granular mix. For orchids and acid-loving plants, try kanuma or satsuma gold stone and adjust the ratio to your plant and watering routine. For seed raising and cuttings, blend perlite or vermiculite with other media to balance water and air. LECA clay pebbles, diatomite and maifan stone also work well for drainage and top dressing. Most granules come in a choice of grain size (2–4mm, 3–5mm, 3–6mm) to suit your pot size. These are natural materials, so colour, shape and batch can vary slightly. We deliver across New Zealand from Auckland, or you can pick up in Mairangi Bay by arrangement.
